Up, up and away ….

So tomorrow Mr Potato Head and I are off on an awfully big adventure. We are headed up to Whangarei. I am a little nervous about crossing the Harbour Bridge but I think Coke and lashings of loud music (I’m leaning towards Rammstein at the moment) will help us to make it safely across.
Or in my caffeine fuelled daze and distracted by the loud thumping music I will veer wildly and drive straight off.
Something like that.

And Claire I am sorry that we ate hotdogs, but all the meal was delicious, the risotto was lovely and creamy and the chicken was perfect.
The hotdog was also good.

When you pay for something off trade me and 2 weeks later you still haven’t heard back from them or received anything that even vaguely resembles small tupperware containers.
Bad, bad peoples!!!!
I don’t want to , but if I don’t get anything then I will place negative feedback. And I really don’t want to be one of those people but I may be forced into it!!!!

Things that are extremely cool and don’t annoy me!!!!!

When mum goes to Aussie for a week and I get to drive around in her car. Not only does it start easily every time but it has a CD player so I’ll get to sing along loudly all the way up to Whangarei on Tuesday!!!

The fact that my car appears to have an invisibility switch. However as I don’t know where it is I can’t, in fact, switch the car onto visible. So people continue to not see me.
It’s the only explanation I can come up with after 4 people (on 4 seperate occasions) pulled out in front of me.

So you get invited around to someones house, you get ready (which is hard work when there is one and a half of you to get ready), you drive over there (getting lost on the way because you once again take the wrong road off the Royal Oak roundabout), you get there, you knock on the door and nobody answers.
So you wait.
You knock again and still nobody answers.
So you decide to go visit a different friend, you have a nice little catch-up and then you come home.
You email the first friend with “I came over but nobody answered the door ”
They reply “well mel we were home all morning and every one else came in and had mornig tea so dont know what happened there as there was some one home all morning long”

Now, to me that comes across as quite rude as there was no answer at the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So why am I made to feel like a bad person?
