All Christmased out…

h1 Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Thats it - I’m done. Food was eaten, gifts were exchanged, fun was had. Particularly good stocking this year, thanks Santa. We just got home from “up northing” for a week and I am tired. Of course the place is a mess and there is much to do but it is nice to be in one’s own home again.
We had a lovely time at Mum and Dad’s place, just ‘laxing and taking advantage of grandparents.
Certainly a much better Christmas than last year. There was no vomiting involved at all - well not by me and I don’t know about other people’s vomiting habits.
The Christmas crackers were hilarious as usual. There is a fine line - because you don’t want the really top range ones but you don’t want the really shit ones either. The first ones we did were perfect. Some of the jokes were funny and the little toys were fun (read crap, but fun).

Also I am the boggle champion of the world. This is if the world consists of Dylan, Emily and me.

Summer

h1 Tuesday, December 6th, 2005

it is of course pouring with rain, as is the way of Auckland summers.

24 days people - only 24!!!! And one of those is not a shopping day. Because if you are able to purchase my birthday present from somewhere that is open on Christmas then I’m not sure it is something I want.

Oh the rainyness!!!!
And it’s not my fault. I did not put out any washing today. Or buy anything summery. And I don’t need to go anywhere.

We visited Claire, Morgan, George and Edward’s new house on Sunday. It is very nice, I like the gardens very muchly.
