4 kilos down - only about another 10 to go. The thing I really want is a quarter pounder. They are so bad …. but soooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooood! Oh well, never mind.

So house thing didn’t work out - that’s fine. We could probably do with a little more time to sort ourselves out (sell all our excess crap on trademe, etc.)
Oh - the monster has just awoken so …….

Oh so tired. Unfortunately I have inherited the inability to sleep in from my father. Once I’m awake in the mornings it is very difficult for me to go back to sleep. This is not true for Dylan - once hes awake all he wants to do is sleep ![]()
Emily went home yesterday, after a week of staying with us. We didn’t fo very much - had a nice, lazy time. Although we finally went and saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Now, a lot of people were disappointed with it as it missed out so much stuff, but, as it has been AGES since I read the book, I really enjoyed it (and really, who wants a 10 hour long movie so everything can fit in????)
We went to Claire and Morgan’s for dinner last night - yummy!!!!!
But little Mr Man was not too well. He was very smiley and chatty but threw up all his milk all over his Daddy.
Then, this morning, he has been really grumpy. We don’t think he is sick, just tired, like the rest of us!
Oh, which reminds me, Dylan finally got the thing done to the XBox so we can watch tv programmes taken from the internet! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can finally watch the second series of Veronica Mars… and the entire first seaon of Lost.
Oh, again, that reminds me… everyone knows how much I love my reality programmes and I was looking at the latest TV Guide - which is for next week - and in the front, in a little “top picks” space, it tells you who the final 3 families are in The Amazing Race! VERY ANNOYED!
So I eamiled them and complained - I haven’t seen tonights one - as it is on tonight - but now I know who goes home.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, and we think we’ve found a house.

Yep - I am now officially in my late 20’s. Sigh. Oh well. I’m going with the “I have a baby” thing as my major achievement. Still a few years till 30 - I’m sure I can cram some stuff in there. Like getting married and stuff.
We had a fantastic New Year’s celebration at Morgan and Claire’s place. Nice company, plenty of food and drink and no baby. Sigh. Harrison was at home with Grandma and Grandad and was not awake to see in the New Year. Although the morning reminded us of why we don’t go out drinking anymore. Because someone has to get up when Harrison wants to.
So as far as birthdays go mine was fairly okay. I guess the older you are the less exciting it gets.
Claire made a lovely cake so at least I got that part. Unlike 2004 when I would have vomited on it, in 2005 I got to eat it!
Everything is a bit better with food and no vomiting!
Dylan and I started our “diet” on Sunday. And thus far have survived.
We shall see how it goes. We have both been very good in sticking with it but I don’t feel skinnier yet!
Also the search for a new home is on. Alas suburbia beckons, with its large fenced yards and 3 bedroomed homes.
I blame little mister roly-poly and his new found moveability!!!!!
