Weddings

h1 June 29th, 2006

So, planning for a wedding is hard work! Also if you stick the word wedding in front of something it suddenly becomes a lot more expensive. But we are getting there. The most annoying thing is shit websites, or no websites - honestly if you run a business - GET A WEBSITE!!!!!!! Or at the very least and email address.
Anyway I have The Dress, we have found suits for the guys, a cake, a venue, invitations and we are working on a DJ and hair and makeup at the moment.
Harrison will be a page boy/ring bearer (and he will look as cute as ever), Gabby (my friend, Bridget’s daughter) is my flowergirl, Jess is my chief bridesmaid and Em is my other bridesmaid. Dylan is having Ryan as his best man and James as his groomsman. So at some stage there will be some sort of bachelor and bachelorette parties. Woohoo.

Life

Okay - so Dylan actually managed to be romantic for our anniversary and took me to Orbit - where the food was delicious and we tried to not talk about Harrison in an effort to prove that we are more than just parents.

We went to the Zoo for Harrison’s birthday - which was rather stressful for me and next year we will go to Dylan’s parents house for a party as it is much closer and easier to organise!
The Monkey Birthday cake turned out better than expected and Dylan has siad that next year he will do the birthday cake - although after the recent attempt to make muffins without any help from me ended in semi-disaster…….anyway, we’ll see what happens.

I sold Nina. :-(
It was a bit sad because she was a member of the family - and selling members of the family is frowned upon. Nobody will buy them anyway - I have tried!!!!

Crappy Valentines

h1 February 14th, 2006

It’s Valentines Day and, as usual, I got nothing. I suppose it is to be expected having a partner like Dylan, but still, I hold a little hope that one day he will do something romantic. Go on, ask him about his “romantic” proposal!

“home” sick

h1 February 9th, 2006

I’m sick :-(
My boss said that his Daddy could stay home and look after him while i lounge about on the couch and attempt to cough up a lung. I really should stop smoking. Oh, wait.
The boss (Harrison, not Bruce Springsteen - although how cool would that be???) has taken his Daddy for a walk to fetch me some lunch. And possibly a new lung.
Unfortunately what I really want is comfort food - like greasy, salty chips or a big cream bun. Sigh.

Well, back to holding the couch down and watching Dr Phil. Yay for school holidays being over so bad 70’s/80’s television is not on anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Losing weight

4 kilos down - only about another 10 to go. The thing I really want is a quarter pounder. They are so bad …. but soooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooood! Oh well, never mind.
